Get a TikTok verification code on a temporary number
Pick an active phone number below, enter it on TikTok's sign-up screen, and read the SMS code right here in the browser, free of charge. No SIM card, no separate account with us, nothing to install beyond the TikTok app itself.
Pick a country for your TikTok phone number
View all countries →Both countries use the same +1 dial code, so a number for TikTok works the same way for verification in either one. Get whichever one shows active and use it below to receive the code, free.
Where TikTok asks for a phone number
TikTok requests a phone number at sign-up, right after "Use phone number or email", and again later in Settings whenever a login method changes or a fresh tiktok verification follows a flagged login. Type one of the free ones above into that field, keep the country code TikTok fills in, and tap send code. A one-time passcode arrives by SMS within the app's own countdown, and you read it here in this browser inbox to receive it, not as a push notification on a handset.
Every one above is a shared service: more than one person may try to sign up with the same one around the same time, which is fine since verification only needs one working SMS to receive. If a tiktok code never shows up here, someone else likely grabbed it first — pick another active one and ask TikTok to resend.
A US number and a Canadian one both dial as +1, so the field treats either the same. Fresh ones rotate onto the free active list through the day, so if one stalls mid sign-up, grab a different number.
How to receive a TikTok code with a temporary number
Three steps from opening TikTok to reading the SMS verification code.
Get an active number
Open United States or Canada above and get one marked active — that badge means it is a free service ready to receive an SMS right now.
Enter it on the TikTok screen
Open TikTok, choose sign up with a phone number, type it in exactly, and tap send code — TikTok's own timer starts counting down for that verification.
Read the code here
Open that inbox on this page to receive the message. It shows the verification code as digits; copy them into TikTok before the countdown runs out.
Why TikTok rejects a shared phone number
TikTok runs a risk filter on a phone number before the SMS even sends. If one opened several accounts recently, tiktok verification can refuse it with "this phone number can't be used right now" — an SMS pattern check, not a carrier block. This service leans harder on that SMS signal than most apps.
Spend time or spend a dollar
Two honest paths. Get a different active one above — a fresh one usually clears verification and its SMS on the first try. Or rent a private service at SV Number: about $1 for 20 minutes, refunded automatically if no SMS arrives to receive.
TikTok's help center documents its account rules at tiktok.com if you want to see what triggers a re-check.
What a free TikTok number will not do
Every one above is a receive-only service for one SMS code, and only that SMS. No reply, no voice fallback — just a free text inbox built to receive tiktok verification.
A shared phone number cannot stay private long-term. Anyone who opens the same one later can read whatever lands next to receive — a login alert, a password-reset code, a second verification prompt. TikTok re-checks that phone number at exactly that moment, and if someone else has claimed it, the re-check fails and locks you out.
None of that makes the free service wrong for what it does on TikTok: one sign-up, one code, no cost. The gap opens only on anything checked twice, where a private one earns its dollar to receive it safely across all numbers.
